Point Breakdown
Personal Growth Projects will fall under one of three possible categories:
Level I: Interest (350 points)
The Personal Growth Project topic is overviewed, making the Group member informed on the chosen topic (50-100 hours June - November). Examples include reading 20 books, mastering a specific musical piece, learning to cook certain meals, hand-coding a small website, etc.
Level II: Exploration (700 points)
The Personal Growth Project topic is explored, making the Group member competent with the chosen topic (100-150 hours June - November). Examples include training for/running a marathon or 1/2 marathon, other personal workout goals, writing a book, learning a new skill such as painting, sewing, shooting, etc., hand-coding a mid to large website, etc.
Level III: Mastery (1,000 points)
The Personal Growth Project topic is exhaustively covered, making the Group member skilled with the chosen topic (150-200 hours June - November). Examples include learning a new language (reach a conversational level of proficiency), learning a new instrument, coding an app, starting a non-profit organization, etc.

Working On a PGP
To earn credit, Group members must document their Personal Growth Project progress using a spreadsheet, pictures, video, essay, etc. Additionally, an accurate log must be kept of all time spent on the Personal Growth Project.
Submitting a PGP
After November 30, Group members who have completed a Personal Growth Project will make some kind of presentation about their project to their Group. The presentations should showcase the Group member's work and should be between 5-10 (Level I), 6-12 (Level II), or 8-15 (Level III) minutes in length.
Personal Growth Project presentations must undergo a final review by the Personal Growth Project Challenge Committee before being made to the Group. The Personal Growth Challenge Committee may instruct members to make improvements to their presentations before the final presentation is given. Personal Growth Projects are eligible for points once the final presentation has been approved by the Personal Growth Challenge Committee and made to the corresponding Group.
Penalty for incomplete submissions:

Penalty for incomplete submissions:
- This will vary based on the level project, how much you completed, and how many hours you have logged.
- For example, someone who logged 50 hours, but still needed to do a little more work would not be penalized by more than a few points, while someone who had only logged 10 hours would receive very little credit.
